1. Introduction

These Terms of Service govern the services provided by The Exec Desk. By engaging our services, you agree to comply with the terms outlined below. These terms are designed to protect both parties and ensure clear expectations.

2. Services & 14-Day Trial

• All services and packages offered by The Exec Desk are eligible for a 14-day trial period.
• If services are canceled within the 14-day trial, no payment will be due from either party.
• If services continue beyond the 14-day trial, payment will be due at the end of the month.

3. Payment Terms

• Invoices are issued at the end of each month and must be paid in full within [X] days of issuance.
• If payment is not received on time, a late fee of [X]% per week may be applied.
• Work will be paused until full payment is received.
• All payments must be made via [Accepted Payment Methods].
• Any expenses incurred on behalf of the client (e.g., subscriptions, software, third-party services) must be reimbursed promptly.

4. Agreements & Retainers

• At the end of the first month, an agreement outlining the scope of work will be sent.
• Retainer agreements require a formal contract; project-based work may proceed without one.
• Clients may cancel retained work with four (4) weeks’ written notice.

5. Cancellation & Termination

• Clients can cancel their service at any time within the 14-day trial period without incurring any charges.
• After the trial period, cancellations for retainer agreements require four (4) weeks’ written notice.
• The Exec Desk reserves the right to terminate services due to non-payment, breach of contract, or inappropriate conduct.
• No refunds will be issued for work already completed.

7. Confidentiality & Data Protection

• All client information, including business data, will be treated as confidential.
• The Exec Desk will not share, sell, or disclose client data to third parties without prior consent.
• Clients agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary information shared by The Exec Desk.

8. Intellectual Property

• Any work created by The Exec Desk (reports, documents, strategies, etc.) remains the property of The Exec Desk until full payment is received.
• Once payment is received, ownership of completed work is transferred to the client unless otherwise agreed.
• The Exec Desk reserves the right to showcase non-sensitive work as part of its portfolio unless otherwise requested by the client.
